A former Fort Polk Army Soldier was sentenced to life in federal prison on Tuesday for sexually abusing a minor under the age of 12 years old.

Ronald W. Allen, Jr., 41, was found guilty by a federal jury of sexually abusing the minor on numerous occasions over four years on the Fort Polk Military Base, where Allen lived.

Acting U.S. Attorney Alexander C. Van Hook said the minor gave details to an individual at a school she was attending in a community near Fort Polk and after an investigation, the DNA evidence obtained from where the abuse occurred matched Allen’s DNA.

Judge Jay Zainey also ordered 41-year-old Ronald W. Allen Jr. to pay $72,000 restitution, Acting U.S. Attorney Alexander C. Van Hook said in a news release Tuesday.


She finally told someone at a school she was attending near the Army base about the abuse, authorities said. DNA evidence matched Allen’s, the news release said.

Jurors deliberated about 30 minutes, convicting Allen of both sexual abuse of a minor and aggravated sexual abuse of a child under the age of 12. The life sentence was for the second charge; sexual abuse of a minor carries up to 15 years, according to the Justice Department news release about the conviction.

“This sentence sends a clear message that those who abuse children will be brought to justice. These crimes are particularly heinous because children put their trust in adults and especially those who serve in the United States Military. This office will make it a priority to continue to prosecute these difficult cases to help provide safer communities for all of our children,” said Acting U.S. Attorney Van Hook.

The FBI, U.S. Army Criminal Investigation Command, and the Vernon Parish Sheriff’s Department conducted the investigation. Assistant U.S. Attorneys John Luke Walker and Daniel J. Vermaelen prosecuted the case.

You're right, unfortunately. And what happens if it really does get life? W'll get to give it three hots and a cot, so it can spend a couple of years going to law school, then get released. "No longer a threat to society."

Let me just say, I believe in the death penalty for raping minors, human or nigger. There's absolutely no reason to spend money on such monsters.

I've said it before and I'll say it again. Once anyone has allowed him/herself (yes, they do it too) to become so depraved as to forcibly rape another human being or even an animal, there is NO REHABILITATION POSSIBLE!

The only thing left to do is to permanently incarcerate or execute the person or ape responsible. Let's face it, permanent incarceration for life is punishing the taxpayers at that point. The purpose of prison is punishment first, rehabilitation last as an attempt to reform the thought process of the criminal so that it will not repeat the same behavior.

In my hometown, the family of the sheriff hog tied and castrated a POS rapist who got off of a rape charge for attacking a family member of the sheriff. This should have done the trick, right? No boner, no rape, right? Nope, they got the same guy not three years later molesting a child. He didn't change his behavior. He continued until finally imprisoned for life.

Such is the reprobate mind of a rapist. It cannot be changed. It is possessed. It must be dealt with swiftly and permanently.
