I'm guessing at some point niggers may have been used as gator bait but gators are capable of learning. They know that niggers are toxic and wont eat them no matter how hungry they are.

I've heard of it, but haven't found an iron-clad reference that confirms the practice. If it did happen, that's just what a niglet deserves.
