Raina Swopshire also known as Kennishewa Whitley, 24, :bobble is accused of stabbing and killing her mother, 49-year-old Stacy Jennings.
Swopshire originally faced battery with a deadly weapon and aggravated battery, however, on Tuesday, those charges were dropped.
Swopshire is now charged with murder.
