Why would Khan want to stop his friends?

Look what he said after the attack. I thought asslifters were supposed to be this peaceful religion, but their Mayor Goatfucker is the one saying we'd better not make them angry, or more of them will attack us. And why are they so angry? Well, their asshurt goes back 1400 years.
