The Milwaukee Bucks fell two games short of the NBA Finals but they won big at the league wards on Monday as Giannis Antetokounmpo took home Most Valuable Player honors before thanking his family in a tearful speech.
Antetokounmpo, a 24-year-old forward from Greece, beat Paul George of the Oklahoma City Thunder and James Harden of the Houston Rockets, who won last year. Only Antetokounmpo (78) and Harden (23) received any first place votes.
