Shaniqua Jordan, 32, of Brooklyn, was extradited from New York City and charged with third-degree larceny, four counts of illegal use of a credit card, forgery, criminal attempt at first and second-degree larceny and three counts of identity theft. She was released after posting a $25,000 court-appearance bond.

According to her six-page arrest affidavit, the case began in March 2017 when a Stamford woman reported to police that someone had made multiple purchases on her debit card while opening additional accounts without her knowledge or permission. The woman said from March 15 to March 27 someone had tried to make $54,000 in fraudulent purchases and $3,300 worth of purchases had gone through.

The purchases that had gone through involved Uber and Amtrak rides as well as a $2,754 charged to Net-A-Porter for an Yves Saint Laurent shoulder bag.

Two expensive purchases that she allegedly tried to make were declined for a $17,300 Rolex watch from a high-end watch seller and another $16,750 Rolex from a New York City jeweler, the arrest warrant said.
