Dover Police arrested two snakeheads Friday evening after a traffic stop led to the discovery of drugs.

While on patrol at around 7:45 p.m., officers observed a vehicle that was flagged for “unauthorized use of a motor vehicle” through a computer check. A traffic stop was initiated, and contact was made with the occupants, 29-year-old Devon Cannon and 28-year-old Russell Burton.

A subsequent search of the vehicle led to the discovery of 252 bags of heroin.
