Maleah Davis' stepfather, Darion Vence, is now a person of interest in the case of her disappearance, according to Houston police.

Vence was the last person to see Maleah before she went missing. Vence told police he, his 2-year-old son and Maleah were abducted Friday evening by three men in a blue Chevrolet pickup truck, investigators said. He said he was knocked out by one of the men and when he regained consciousness, Maleah and the family’s car were gone.

Also just in, he says he walked to the hospital and had told police earlier that he got a ride.

Additionally, this isnt the first time Houston Children's Services have been involved with this fambly and their sprogs.


Police are asking the public for help in finding the girl, who was last seen on Friday night when three mystery men beat up her stepfather, Darion Vence, 26, and briefly held him and her 2-year-old brother hostage before dumping Vence and the toddler on the side of the road and absounding with Maleah, police said.
