A she boon is accused of embezzling nearly $50,000 from an elderly woman she was supposed to be caring for.
The investigation began in August when family members contacted the Sheriff’s Office to report that their grandmother was being financially scammed by her caretaker, 55-year-old Donnetta Corry Watkins.
