China doesn't mess about when it comes to the security of their country and compliant citizens.

My guess is that there has already been a truck of peace incident or two that the Chinese government have swept under the carpet so as not to appear weak to the rest of the world.

They are only doing what any other civilised country should be doing when faced with the threat of islam.
