A man has been charged with murder after beating another man with a liquor bottle outside a CTA station in Englewood last year, prosecutors said.
At least one bystander took cellphone video of Antwan McNutt, 33, slamming the bottle against the head of Charles Johnson, 41, in the middle of the street on Nov. 28, Assistant State’s Attorney Craig Taczy said in court.
“People were taping this?” asked Judge Maria Kuriakos Ciesil. “Please don’t tell me this went on Facebook as well.”
“It did, your honor,” Taczy said.
