A Vanceboro nigger sidewalk pharmacist has been sentenced to 10-14 years in Nigger Buck University for selling heroin and fentanyl.

Davondevish Calah Bryant, 38, pled guilty to several charges involving the possession and sale of the drug before Superior Court Judge Jeffrey Foster. Prosecutor was Assistant DA Chekesha Hukins.

The charges were the result of three separate investigations.

In the first, an undercover informant working with the Craven County Sheriff’s Department and CNET (Coastal Narcotics Enforcement Team) purchased $420 worth of fentanyl-laced heroin from a person who had gotten it from Bryant.

The sheriff’s office and CNET then conducted surveillance on Bryant’s residence, resulting in an arrest warrant in which they found him in possession of 8 grams of heroin, a 12-gauge shotgun, $1,750 in cash, and a binder labeled with gang references and Bryant’s nickname, “Fats,” on it.

In the third investigation, New Bern police responded to a call regarding a black Ford Expedition at a gas pump, engine running and in gear. They found Bryant in the driver’s seat and Anthony Massengill in the passenger’s seat. Both were slumped over and, at first, unresponsive. Bryant’s foot was on the brake.

As Bryant began to regain consciousness, the vehicle moved forward until Bryant put it in park at the officer’s direction. When the men were removed from the vehicle a plastic bag corner containing a tan powder fell to the ground. Bryant had a straw tucked behind his ear with powder on it. Another bag of tan powder was found in the cup holder.

Bryant pled guilty to trafficking in heroin; trafficking in opium; possession of a firearm by a felon; possession with intent to sell or deliver heroin and fentanyl; felony possession of a Schedule I controlled substance; maintaining a vehicle or dwelling for controlled substances; and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Byrant also admitted his status as a habitual felon, having had at least three prior convictions.

In addition to the prison term Bryant was ordered to pay a mandatory $50,000 fine, court costs, jail fees, laboratory fees, and attorney’s fees for his appointed council. Both his firearm and money was seized and forfeited to the appropriate agencies.
