A San Francisco 49ers cheerleader who kneeled during the national anthem Thursday has been identified.
DailyMail.com can confirm that Kayla Morris is the name of the cheerleader. Her former teammate spoke out.
The brunette from Antioch kneeled during the home game vs the Oakland Raiders at Levi's Stadium.
The official website for the 49ers states that Morris has been a member of Gold Rush for two seasons.
Her bio page says her favorite song is Skywalker, favorite holiday is Halloween and pleasure food Hot Cheetos.
Former 49ers Kaepernick started the controversial protest against racism and police brutality back in 2016.
President Trump has slammed the protests, calling them disrespectful. He told bosses to 'fire' the players.
The NFL tried to ban players from protesting on the field during the anthem, but the players' union stepped in and the decision had been reversed.
