A man is dead after a shooting Saturday in Northeast Washington.
D.C. police said officers responding to the sound of multiple gunshots around 5:17 p.m. in the 4400 block of Douglas Street, NE found a man suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. He was transported by DC Fire and EMS to a hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
The victim has been identified as 19-year-old Trayvon Wood, of Southeast.
