TAMPA, Fla. — A man accused of shooting and killing his girlfriend and her 10-year-old son has been charged with murder.
Tyrone Johnson, 42, called 911 Sunday night, shortly before 7 p.m., stating he had shot his 34-year-old girlfriend and her 10-year-old son inside their apartment at the Mariner's Cove apartment complex in Tampa, according to an arrest affidavit.
The arrest report states that the shooting stemmed from an argument when he changed the channel to watch football.
