Following chest pains, David had visited the Red Sea Hospital where he had been given antibiotics for a chest infection and sent back to his hotel. He died days later.

The family say that they had asked for no post-mortem to be carried out in Egypt, but that they were told it was necessary given the concerns they had expressed about the hospital’s treatment of David.

Yeah, devout Catholics on Sundays when the cops and courts aren't arresting Americans for unofficial ransom. Even European countries are getting brazen with local cops shaking down Americans. If you want some kind of Latino flavor on vacation, there are good parts of Miami. More expensive than Mexico, but safer, without having to go through customs, and Cuban>Mexican anytime.
