Alorton Mayor JoAnn Reed faces new criminal charges Friday stemming from a prior incident earlier this month.
The arrest is stemming from an incident on Sept. 15 after she was spotted allegedly impersonating a police officer by using her city issued vehicle, equipped with police lights, attempting to "clear the path" for her personal travel.
Reed was charged with two counts of official misconduct and one count possession of oscillating lights/police equipment,
