A Fayetteville Snakehead has been charged and the victim has been identified in a stabbing death early Wednesday.
Christopher Jay Smith Jr., 18, has been charged with murder. He is accused of killing Samuel Darnell Wallace, 32.
Officers were sent to investigate a stabbing and as they entered through the front door and found the residence unoccupied but evidence a serious injury had occurred there.
Officers went to Cape Fear Valley Medical Center after finding out that a male stabbing victim was being treated there.
