The men refused to leave so Officer Michael Roscoe Jr. attempted to arrest Chasrick. Several of Chasrick’s friends started to pull him away from Roscoe, police said. Officer Canada Stewert was assisting with the arrest when Joshua Heredia began kicking both officers, police said
Roscoe began to defend himself, but several men surrounded the officer and "repeatedly attacked him," police said.
Another officer, Officer Konrad Jaworowski, arrested Joshua Heredia while the rest of the men continued to assault Roscoe and Stewert, police said.
Roscoe and Stewert suffered serious injuries.
Police say Roscoe suffered a concussion from being kicked in the head by Joshua Heredia. Stewert suffered a concussion from being struck in the head by Ortiz De La Cruz and Johnston.
Additional officers were needed to take the six men into custody and disburse the crowd.
