Kwanza Jermaine Donald, 33, was driving a gray Toyota Camry southbound on the turnpike near State Road 50 when troopers said he shot and hit a 37-year-old man and 17-year-old girl from Miami.
Both were taken the Orlando Regional Medical Center with minor injuries.
Donald contacted law enforcement earlier Sunday, and a weapon was found inside his vehicle, Montes said.
